Patient Participation Group

We have a very active Patient Group who support the Practice in various projects in-house and help to raise funds for equipment for the benefit of the patients. It is run by volunteers who give up a bit of their time to be the voice of the patients to the surgery.

Established over 20 years ago, they have supported the Practice purchasing nebulisers, a waiting room blood pressure monitor, waiting room display screen, an ECG machine and a Dermascope, as well as the chairs in the waiting room, to name but a few. The latest donation is a bluetooth spirometer for COPD patients.

We are always happy to welcome new members, so if you are interested in supporting your Practice by joining our group, please complete the following application form and we will then register you to be included in our group. Your contact details will be kept safe.

Meetings are usually in the evenings at the Surgery every three months, and we try and alternate the weekdays to give everyone a chance to attend. The meeting duration is normally around 90 minutes, depending on agenda content.
